Is a SDLC where we develop and deliver one task at a time, maintaining a working prototype system at each increment. When errors are detected or changes are requested you revisit earlier tasks and fix them.

This can be visualised as a [see page 19, fountain] where each task gushes forward, but some may fall-back to be caught and recycled later.
