Frequency Analysis
The process of decomposing a discrete (or continuous) signal into periodic functions in the Frequency Domain.
This is [see page 7, guaranteed] to exist for any periodic (repeating) signal (through fourier theorem) and can be found for any non-periodic signal through the fourier series.
Fourier Analysis
The [see page 6, graphing] of a signal in an amplitude-time graph and a amplitude-frequency graph.
See the fourier analysis of:
- [see page 2, sinus]
- cosinus
- sawtooth
- square
